Work Permits
“How do I obtain a work permit?” is one of the most common questions we receive.
Understanding the many types of work permits and their requirements can be very daunting. Canada offers open work permits, Temporary Foreign Worker Permits, Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) supported permits, LMIA-exempt work permits, Intra-Company Transferee and Global Talent Stream work permits, just to name a few. Work permit applications may, or may not, require participation from the employer – and thus more forms and documents.
It is also possible to work in Canada without a work permit, such as business visitors. Finding the right work permit – or a work permit-free process — is where we come in.
